JUTSU SYSTEM
CHAKRA POOLS
[/u]– 50 CP
Everyone has chakra, some more than others, some almost none at all. The following is the amount of chakra that the average ninja will have from the point they join the academy to the point they reach the level of Jounin (measured in Chakra Points):
Genin – 100 CP
Chuunin – 200 CP
Jounin – 400 CP
[/ul]
Looking at the numbers will let you know that as someone changes rank, their chakra points will double when they get to their next rank. However, this only reflects the chakra of the average person, and thus means that there would be people with more or less chakra than the mentioned. How do you get more chakra than average?
[/blockquote]
[/ul]
Now then, how do you get less chakra? Circumstances will come where your character will have diminished chakra access, for example, having to leave a thread and go to another to follow through a mission that spans more thread, which there will be in the future. Other situations may include you agreeing to create a character that actually has less chakra than normal. The final may include us staff members reducing your character’s chakra pool as a minor punishment for misbehaving (be warned, we may actually do it).
JUTSU USAGE
[/b]
For convenience sake, we simplified the system of jutsu so that people have a measurable way using jutsu with chakra.
[/ul]
It is important to note that these chakra costs only represent the average value for their respective ranks. So, if you feel like making a jutsu of a given rank quite powerful and you want to justify its power, you can just go ahead and toy with the numbers and provide some custom chakra points. Do remember that the chakra costs are the standardfor the given rank. All numbers are subject to review.
This only explains how most of the jutsu will work; however, there are a few cases that still would be explained. Two of these cases are continuous jutsu and the use of Kai to break genjutsu. On the former, the jutsu’s initial cost will be equivalent to its rank, while maintaining the jutsu will have a chakra cost that will be dependent on the rank of the jutsu. The list below will show the upkeep costs for continuous jutsu (which may be changed on a ‘case-by- case’ basis):
D Ranked Jutsu – 1 CP
C Ranked Jutsu – 2 CP
B Ranked Jutsu – 3 CP
A Ranked Jutsu – 4 CP
S Ranked Jutsu – 5 CP

PART TWO: CHAKRA ELEMENTS
Chakra lets the user create an unlimited amount of jutsu of any kind one would think. It is needless to say that this includes jutsu based on the natural elements of the world. However being able to use all of those elements is something that may well be impossible. The chakra elements are divided in several categories according to how they function, these being: nature elements and combined elements.[/blockquote]
The Nature Elements
[/u]– Unable to use elemental chakra.
Everyone in the world is born with a chakra nature alignment; this nature can only be any of the five elements known to the world. These five elements are fire, wind, lightning, earth and water. Each of these elements has unique properties and is strong against one particular nature while weak against another. The following list will explain the basic elements that everyone is born with:
- Hi/ho is the nature fire. It is strong against wind, but weak against water. Ninjas usually call fire-based techniques “Katon” (Fire Release/Style).
- Kaze is the nature of wind. It is strong against lightning, yet is weak against fire. Techniques of this nature are called “Fuuton” (Wind Release/Style).
- Kaminari is the nature of lightning. It is strong against earth, while it’s weak against wind. People call techniques based on lightning “Raiton” (Lightning Release/Style).
- Tsuchi is the nature of earth. It is strong against water and is weak against lightning. The name given to earth techniques is “Doton” (Earth Release/Style).
- Mizu is the nature of water. It is strong against fire as much as weak against earth. Water-based teachniques are called “Suiton” (Water Release/Style).
For balancing sake, ninja are limited in the number of chakra natures they may have, as is listed below:
Genin – Able to use their chakra nature.
Chuunin – Able to use their chakra nature, plus another element.
Jounin – Able to use their chakra nature, plus two other elements or more.

[/b]The Combined Elements
There are several ways in which one can use combined elements. The first of this ways is to have possession of an elemental kekkei genkai (bloodline limit/ability), which allows you fuse the elements in order to create the new element in question.
The second method of using fused elements is rather questionable as to one could call it a “fusion element”, but it involves using the materials found around you in order to give the effect of being a user of such powerful elements. It must be mentioned that fusion elements are generally much weaker than their kekkei genkai counterparts but do allow for interesting effects.
Bolded elements are kekkei genkai elements.
Doton + Suiton = Mokuton (Wood)
Katon + Raiton = Shoton (Plasma)
Fuuton + Doton = Jinton (Dust)
Raiton + Suiton = Ranton (Storm)
Suiton + Fuuton = Hyoton (Ice)
Raiton + Doton = Hariton (Crystal)
Katon + Raiton = Basuton (Burst)
Fuuton + Raiton = Toton (Light)
Raiton + Doton = Koton (Steel)
Suiton + Katon = Futton (Boil)
Doton + Katon = Yoton (Lava)
Katon + Fuuton = Sumoton (Smoke)
Fuuton + Raiton = Kyoton (Shock/Static)
Doton + Suiton = Dokton (Poison)
Suiton + Katon = Saboton (Rust)
Fuuton + Doton = Saton (Sand)
Raiton + Suiton = Santon (Acid)
Doton + Katon = Ayuton (Oil)
Suiton + Fuuton = Gufuton (Hurricane)

Note to Members: Note that this is the list of accepted Combination Releases for this site. Staff will not accept Kekkei Genkai's that are another combination release that is not on this list without prior permission from a head staff member (Kusuke, Chidori, etc). We will automatically deny any custom combination releases that were not pre-approved through a PM by the Staff.

TRAINING ELEMENTS
[/size]
It is possible for characters to earn new elemental natures through training. This process is up to you since by doing so only makes you capable of using the element and you still have to train jutsu themselves. To gain a new element, members must purchase an elemental upgrade from the store.
NOTE: To train a combination element, a character must first have both of the elements needed to combine and form the new element. Members should also note that most combination element releases are Clan specific, and need to be reserved, while others are open for individual characters to obtain through training without Clans or Kekkei Genkai's.
